Cee’s B & W Challenge: Small Subjects
Bumble Bee on a Blackberry Blossom. (Alliteration Galore.)
Tree Frog climbing up the sunroom door. (Yes, I thought it was weird and have never seen a tree frog from quite this angle.)

The curve of a net as it is lowered into the river. The silhouettes of gulls and pelicans as they watch for a tasty morsel. It’s twilight on Tybee.
Curving tail lying against a leaf of a fine lizard enjoying the Tybee sunshine.

I spotted this handsome fella when I was looking out the window today. He is a Carolina Anole (thanks Wikapedia) displaying his bright red dewlap. I think he was looking for a pretty female. Ah, Spring is in the air.

Here is a shot of a brown pelican silhouetted against a solid blue sky. It is my take on colorful monotones. This shot almost doesn’t look like a photography to me….since it is so simple.

I captured this close-up of a brown pelican on one of my beach walks. He truly did not seem to be afraid of me at all.

With your feet on the ground, you’re a bird in flight…but sadly I have no pictures of a kite.
The blue heron below seems to be expressing his deep contemplation of the world. His pose emulates Rodin’s “The Thinker. ” Or could it actually be that he is scratching an itch. We’ll never know.

All you need to do is place yourself on the swing…with a perfect day and a light breeze…there you have it, “Serenity”.
