A Fishing “Tail”

I spotted this handsome fella when I was looking out the window today.  He is a Carolina Anole (thanks Wikapedia) displaying his bright red dewlap.  I think he was looking for a pretty female.  Ah, Spring is in the air.

Here is a shot of a brown pelican silhouetted against a solid blue sky.  It is my take on colorful monotones.  This shot almost doesn’t look like a photography to me….since it is so simple.
