Daily Post Photo Challenge: Rounded
Here is a rounded shot of one of my go-to subjects, the Tybee Lighthouse. Just the top, if you please.
Also here is a “kind of” round hibiscus. I never can resist a pretty flower.

We have been having some foggy/hazy days here on Tybee. Here is a photograph of the Cockspur Lighthouse on a misty morning. The colors were soft and the aura was “Magic”.

I thought this would make a good subject for Cee’s B & W Challenge: Sepia
This past Sunday, hubby and I went on a guided walk at Fort Pulaski. The park rangers escorted us on one of the trails to the Cockspur Lighthouse. Right now the lighthouse and the little island on which it stands is closed for some much needed repairs. I was able to take some nice photos across the channel. Even though, I was in swamp mud up to my ankles and my sneakers will never be the same, I had a great time and would like to share this photo with you.
Cee’s B & W Photo Challenge: Buildings
Here is a black and white photo of the Tybee Lighthouse taken from the beach. Without the color, the shot evokes feelings of days gone by… A creased photograph found when rummaging through a box of pictures of a long ago summer vacation.
Sunset over Cockspur Lighthouse on January 12, 2015. The day was a little foggy and hazy. The sky was indigo. It reminded me of a setting for a fairy tale.
