Wars are part of our history.  Civil wars are perhaps the most difficult to understand, since it is a fight among county men.  Sometimes I hear folks trying to adjust history to make it more palatable.  In all its beauty and in all its ugliness, our heritage should be remembered as it happened.  Perhaps if we remember, we will not make the same mistakes.

Remembering our heritage is important.

I retired from a rule-driven profession and moved to the beach in Georgia with my husband. Now I spend my time doing fun and creative things and enjoying the warm weather and my beautiful surroundings.
