Yesterday was a busy day. When we finally returned home from our errands and excursions and I saw that the Weekly Photo Challenge was “Earth” , I though how perfect the local college is doing their annual sand art contest and I can get some great photos of the thing we call “earth” at the beach, aka “sand”. Alas, I arrived too late and most of the entries had been returned to their natural level beach state either though waves or stomping feet. I did manage to get a couple of shots, so here you have it…”Tybee Earth.”
right oN! 🙂
Sand art is really cool.
Amazing creations! When our girls were little and there was just the right snow, my husband took them out to build a snow fort. They filled a large, rectangular container with snow, pressed it down to make “bricks”, then made sort of a partial igloo. It was quite impressive. Didn’t take the creativity of these, but lots of people remarked on it. 🙂

Sounds like they had fun and brought some joy to folks too. I must admit, I prefer the sand to the snow.
