Here is my entry for Cee’s Black and White Photo Challenge: Lines and Angles
I hope you like it.
Here are a few photos for the Daily Post Photo Challenge: Vibrant.
First is a bright pink oleander bloom.
Second is a wind surfer on the Savannah River.
And since today was the annual Mardi Gras Parade on Tybee. Here are some vibrantly attired characters. (I’m not sure who they are supposed to be.)
And finally a shot of the vibrant “swag” we scored at the parade.
Happy Mardi Gras to all.
Daily Post Challenge: Optimistic
The sight of the sun peaking from behind the dark clouds and displaying its benevolent rays gives me a feeling of optimism.
Cee’s Photo Challenge: Anything that Starts with the Letter “S”
“S” is for Seagull standing in the sand.
“S” is for Squirrel staring silently.
“S” is for the Ship sailing out to sea.
Here is my entry for Cee’s Fun Foto Challenge: Flowers Purple or Blue
Here is a purple water lily from a visit to Epcot.
Purple crocus from our backyard in Pennsylvania…..note the photographer’s shadow….dang.
Here are some purple petunias from our flower pot this past summer.
And lastly, purple wisteria from one of the neighbor’s yard.
Cee’s Odd Ball Challenge: 2016 – Week 3
I saw this little fellow on one of my beach walks. I believe he is a ghost crab. (Crab Connoisseurs correct me, if I am wrong.) I thought that he looked a bit odd, but then again I am not a crab…contrary to any comments that you have heard otherwise.
Here is a parade of letters for the alphabet submission. All were taken on Tybee Island in Georgia….and as anyone who lives here will tell you, “Tybee loves a Parade.”
Cee’s B & W Photo Challenge: Buildings
Here is a black and white photo of the Tybee Lighthouse taken from the beach. Without the color, the shot evokes feelings of days gone by… A creased photograph found when rummaging through a box of pictures of a long ago summer vacation.
DP Photo Challenge: Weight(less)
Weightlessness always reminds me of things in flight….so I will go to my favorite, Tybee’s birds for this week’s photos. The first shot is of a seagull. It was a beautiful day and the bird floated weightlessly across the bright blue sky.
Here is a Tybee Bird of a different variety. Every now and then, I hear an odd motor noise from above and this dude is flying weightlessly across the sky. It looks like fun, doesn’t it?
I surprised myself with the number of white flowers that I had in my archives. Here are a few …. which one do you like best?
White Oleander
Orchard Morning Glories
Not sure what this one is…it’s a shrub, very fragrant flowers and wispy seed pods when the blooms fade
Okay, it is a butterfly….but the little flower is white. : )
