The pelicans enjoy gathering at the Polk Street Beach. The sand is warm, the area is fairly quiet and the surf is invigorating. Plus there is always a bite to eat and a friend to share the latest tidbit of bird gossip.

The pelicans are such fun to watch. They look prehistoric and when they dive….doink right into the water.
