I finally was able to attend the Savannah College of Arts and Design (SCAD) Sand Art Competition. My hubby and I had tried the past two years, but failed because we couldn’t find a parking spot. So this year I had hubby drive me down and drop me off at the competition and I walked home. It is a bit of a hike, but I always get wonderful pictures when I do the beach walk. Anyhow, here are a couple of “odd ball” photos from the event. I hope you enjoy them.
P.S. The artists were quoted as saying the sand was not sticking together well this year, so perhaps next year even better work, although I thought some of these were quite creative. : )

Yes, the students did a great job…I remember my sand castles, they resembled inverted ice cream cones.
